Mechanochemical-assisted extraction and enzymatic hydrolysis of calcium phytate from defatted rice bran

Abstract Background Mechanochemical-assisted extraction (MCAE) and mechanochemical-assisted enzyme catalysis (MCAEC) methods were developed for enzymatic hydrolysis of calcium phytate from defatted rice bran, respectively. Results The MCAE conditions optimized by response surface methodology: 10% sodium carbonate as the solid reagent, 33 min grinding time, 18:1 ball–material ratio, 330 rpm ball milling speed, pH 5.5 extraction. Under these conditions, yield was 97.0 mg/g. MCAEC follows: 2% addition, MM400 time 36 min, PM400 speed 262 rpm, frequency 27 Hz, addition acetate buffer 3 mL. rate 39.7%.
